About Rockin
I am an epidemiologist with a bachelor's degree from UC Berkeley and a master's degree from UCLA. I have tutored for several years in the past and love teaching as well as the subject that I teach. My areas of expertise are mathematics, public health, statistics, and college prep. I look forward to teaching your child or teen!

My teaching approach is allowing a student to figure out the answer on her/his own, and if she/he has trouble, breaking down the steps in very digestible pieces, and then putting the steps together. I love more than anything seeing a student's face light up when he/she has solved a challenging problem. I believe in words of affirmation and lots of encouragement.
