About Aliyah
I’ve been riding for 16 years now. I spent 3 years teaching natural horsemanship to a range of ages, I now work predominantly teaching positive reinforcement to people and horses, with a mission to show that it is possible to work with horses without any pressure, pain, stress etc. •I am a qualified BHA equine coach. •Level 3 Diploma in Equine Rehab, Therapy and Management. • Currently studying as a NAC qualified Equine Behaviouralist. • Centre of Excellence Horse Psychology Diploma. • Continually furthering my expertise under the coaching of world leading positive reinforcement trainers such as Peggy Hogan and Adele Shaw. I also have 5 years extensive industry experience working traditionally, rehabilitation/retraining Ex-race horses and worked closely with the RSPCA on one of their boarding yards.

My teaching method is based around taking the horse into consideration as much as possible and not doing anything that will negatively affect them. I base this on watching and reading the smallest body language signals (“calming signals”) and conditioning the horses to be able to tell us if they are comfortable or uncomfortable with the activities we wish to do with them. To build trust, friendship and enjoyment as a 50/50 relationship between you and the horse

Perfect! Aliyah is a genuine, kind-hearted and extremely knowledgeable horse trainer. I am learning about positive reinforcement training with her and she teaches in a way that is encouraging and understanding, moving at a pace you're comfortable with and answering questions along the way. I'd highly recommend her to others who are looking for a force-free horse training method.
