About Natalie

I have tutored for approximately five years as a private business. I also teach in public schools and in adult education. I have a published website that explains my philosophy in teaching and offers students a platform to get and return assignments, a blog, and a list of sites for study, practice, and test-taking. At this time, in-home lessons will be only online.

About the lesson

I provide well-prepared lessons that fit the learner's needs for study. I teach with patience and clear direction while outlining expectations and modeling concept outcomes. I teach with a variety of methods of presentation and practice so that the student is confident in meeting their goals on learning the English language.

My teaching is very focused, and include goals and objectives for each lesson. This benefits students by helping them know what is expected for each lesson task. I also model how to do the lesson for the student. I can access Common Core Standards, TESOL, or other state ESL standards.

I have met with much success in literature study and reflective and analytical essay writing for secondary students. In addition, my ESL students have accomplished excellent test results and advanced levels in their programs.
