About Jordan
Currently, I am a full-time middle school English teacher. I have taught English at Chinese Universities, and small tutoring companies in China. I have also traveled around the US to teach students English.
On the side, I am in the process of writing a fiction novel. I enjoy building things and learning new skills. I am originally from Colorado.

I base my teaching methods on research-based strategies commonly used in the classroom. A typical lesson will entail developing students' spoken and written English through direct instruction and practice. Much of what I do is catered toward's my students' unique levels and specific needs.
I am most experienced in teaching elementary school and middle school ESL. However, I do have experience in high school and higher-ed English tutoring.
One of the things that sets me apart is my deep commitment to seeing my students succeed.
