About Lilia
I am originally from Brazil and have been living in the Dayton area since 2002. I have a Masters degree in English - TESOL. I taught ESL in Brazil for 12 years and have been teaching ESL/ English Composition at college level in the USA for 12 more. I also teach Portuguese. Since COVID, I have been tutoring online.

I base my teaching on my student. No two classes are alike. I believe that teachers must have their students' needs in mind at all times. Also, it is important that students have the necessary help from me to achieve their goals. I like to explore what my students know about the topic in question and expand their knowledge by making them think deeply about it.
