About Marla
I am licensed to teach ESL for grades k-5 and 6-12 in the state of Massachusetts. In addition, I am a former IELTS speaking examiner and TESOL Certified. Prior to becoming an ESL teacher I was a lawyer in the financial services industry so I can also help with business English.

Learning English can be difficult or it can be fun. I try to make it fun so the time goes quickly and students don't even realize they're learning so much. Depending on the students' levels and goals, we can focus on being understood or grammar or speaking out pronunciation, etc.
