About Annette
I am bilingual in English/German having lived on two continents. As I have worked in different fields over the course of my life, I can readily draw on this experience when teaching ESL. I can help you with business English and medical English.
I have a TESOL diploma and have taught various professionals in Canada and overseas. Though I am currently working in healthcare, my true love is teaching.

I teach via the communicative approach so that the student gets as much student talk time as possible. Some of the techniques I use include visual aids because so many learners are visual learners.
My lesson plans are task-based and might include for example, how to write an email or a business letter, or discussing an article after the student has read it.
As I have taught professionals F2F in Canada and Europe, my lessons are geared toward this group. Most of my students have had at least an intermediate level of English.
My specialties are business English and medical English.
