About Poonam
I have worked with hundreds of students whose second language is English. I have worked with beginners, intermediate and advanced level students. I have observed that the students need to feel confident in order to progress as a learner. That is where I come into the picture. I give them the skills and the much needed encouragement to excel. I become their accountability partner to help them learn.

I have a PhD in English Literature. I also have a teaching experience of 4 years as an Assistant Professor of English and 1 year as ESL Instructor. I have taught fiction, poems, prose and business English to students. I believe in letting the student work at his own pace. However, that does not mean that the student does not have to take ownership. The student has to work as hard as I do. I teach adult learners.
