About Mischa
Hi, I'm Mischa!
I studied Health Sciences and Technology at ETH Zurich, a program that combines subjects such as math, physics, chemistry, and biology. I know from personal experience how challenging it can be to juggle so many subjects simultaneously. This is precisely why an interdisciplinary and thus deeper understanding is particularly important to me.
What makes me special:
I've taught children in Peru, communicated in four languages, and lived on three continents. This diversity has shown me that learning is a very individual thing. It's essential to address learners' strengths and stimulate their curiosity.

The lessons are aimed at learners up to and including high school level in the subjects of mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology.
I teach in Swiss German, High German, English, and Spanish. If necessary, I can also communicate partially in Portuguese and French.
My teaching approach
It's important to me that learners truly understand the material and gain insights independently. I see myself as a guide on their learning journey, not just a source of knowledge.
A typical lesson:
15 minutes
Joint analysis of the learner’s knowledge gaps and strengths.
40 minutes
Building on strengths and closing gaps – with practical examples and vivid analogies, tailored to the individual learning style.
5 minutes
The most important findings are summarized in writing and repeated at the beginning of the following lesson.

Perfect! Mischa ist super freundlich und kann richtig gut erklären. Er hat viel Verständnis und bleibt immer geduldig, egal wie viele Fragen man stellt. Der Unterricht ist klar strukturiert, man kann jederzeit nachhaken, und er hat wirklich immer eine Antwort parat. Selbst bei mir, die Physik sonst eher nicht so mag, hat er es geschafft, echtes Interesse zu wecken:) Auf jeden Fall eine klare Empfehlung von mir!

Mischa is an awesome teacher! He helped me with different areas of knowledge, since languages like Deutsch, to complex science approaches.
He have a lot of patience and a good didactic, surpassing all of my doubts, making the themes easier to comprehend.Mischa ist ein super entspannter und gleichzeitig richtig kompetenter Englischlehrer.
