About Zaira
Hi, I'm Zaira, a VSA-Certified Dog Trainer, Certified Separation Anxiety Pro Behaviour Consultant, and Psychology graduate with a passion for helping people better understand their dogs.
Over the years, I've worked closely with dogs and their humans in a variety of settings, including one-to-one training, online consultations, and group classes. My experience ranges from puppy foundations and everyday training to fear-based behaviours and separation anxiety.
I believe that lasting behaviour change comes from understanding how dogs feel and communicate, rather than relying on punishment or quick fixes. My approach is always kind, science-based, and tailored to the individual dog, because no two dogs—or families—are the same.
My aim is to help people feel more confident, better equipped, and able to build a calmer, more trusting relationship with their dog.
Whether you're looking for guidance with a specific challenge or simply want to deepen your understanding of dog behaviour, I'll be happy to support you in a friendly, supportive, and judgement-free environment.

Every dog is different, which is why every session is tailored to your dog's individual needs and your goals as an owner.
I'm a VSA-Certified Dog Trainer, Certified Separation Anxiety Pro Behaviour Consultant, and hold a degree in Psychology. I use kind, science-based methods that focus on understanding why behaviours happen, rather than simply trying to stop them.
Whether you need help with a new puppy, loose lead walking, recall, confidence building, fear-based behaviour, reactivity, rescue dogs, or simply want to better understand your dog's behaviour, I'll work with you to develop practical, personalised strategies that fit both you and your dog.
Sessions are held online and usually last one hour. We'll discuss your dog's history, your concerns and your goals, and explore the reasons behind the behaviour you're seeing. If helpful, we can also review videos of your dog together. From there, we'll develop practical exercises and tailored strategies that you can begin using straight away.
My goal is to help you build a calmer, more confident relationship with your dog through understanding, trust and positive training.
These sessions are suitable for owners of all experience levels who are looking for positive, science-based guidance tailored to their own dog. They are also suitable for anyone who would like to develop a better understanding of dog behaviour and communication, including parents who want to help children interact with dogs safely and respectfully, or those with a general interest in canine behaviour.

£25 per hour
Each online session is tailored to you and your dog's individual needs. Before the session, you're welcome to let me know what you'd like help with so we can make the most of our time together.
The free 30-minute introductory session is an opportunity for us to discuss your goals, your dog's behaviour, answer any questions you may have, and explore how I can best support you.
Sessions can cover topics such as puppy training, recall, loose lead walking, reactivity, fears and phobias, body language, separation anxiety, or simply understanding dog behaviour and communication more deeply.
My aim is for you to leave each session with practical, personalised guidance that you can start applying straight away.
