About Yasmine
My interest in Excel developed through academic projects and professional data tasks where clarity and structure were essential. I completed a B.Sc in Information Management followed by an M.Sc in Business Analytics, which strengthened my understanding of how data supports informed decision-making. Over 11 years of teaching, I have helped learners progress from basic spreadsheet usage to confident analytical application.
I approach teaching Excel with patience and clarity, recognizing that many learners feel intimidated by formulas and large datasets. I focus on explaining concepts step by step, ensuring students understand the reasoning behind each function rather than relying on memorization. My teaching style emphasizes practical relevance, helping learners see how Excel skills apply directly to real-life situations.

Beginners are guided through spreadsheet fundamentals such as formatting, basic formulas, charts, and data entry techniques, with clear explanations and repeated practice. Intermediate learners work on conditional logic, lookup functions, pivot tables, data validation, and cleaning techniques to manage larger datasets. Advanced learners explore dashboard design, scenario analysis, automation logic, and complex formula structures.
