About Holly
I am an Excel and data skills tutor with 6 years of experience and a Bachelor’s in Information Systems. My interest in data tools began with curiosity about how information can be organized and analyzed effectively. Over the years, I have helped many students and professionals improve their Excel skills and confidence. My goal is to make Excel simple, practical, and useful for everyday work.
My teaching style is structured, clear, and supportive. I break down complex functions into simple steps so students can understand easily. I use real-world examples, hands-on exercises, and guided practice to strengthen learning. I also adapt my lessons based on each learner’s needs and pace to ensure steady improvement. Helping students build confidence in data handling is always my main focus.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring data analysis tools and improving workflow systems. This helps me bring updated and practical knowledge into my lessons. I feel proud when students gain confidence and start working with data independently. Supporting their growth and helping them develop strong Excel skills is something I truly value, and I remain dedicated to guiding them with patience, clarity, and encouragement throughout their learning journey.

My Excel lessons are designed to make data handling simple, structured, and practical for every learner. I begin with basics such as cell formatting, data entry, and simple formulas like SUM, AVERAGE, and COUNT. Students learn how spreadsheets are organized and how data flows within a sheet. I use clear step-by-step demonstrations so learners can follow easily. This approach helps students build confidence from the very beginning.
As students progress, I introduce more advanced topics such as VLOOKUP, IF functions, charts, and pivot tables. I guide learners through practical exercises that simulate real-world data tasks. I explain formulas in a simple way so students understand both logic and application. I support beginners who need extra help and challenge advanced learners with complex data problems. Each lesson is adapted to match the student’s pace and learning needs.
With regular practice, students begin to work with data more efficiently and confidently. They develop strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. My lessons create a supportive environment where learners feel comfortable asking questions. Over time, students become independent, productive, and skilled in using Excel for academic and professional tasks.
