About Victoria
I have 52 years of teaching experience and hold a Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics Education. Throughout my professional career, I have guided students from diverse educational backgrounds, helping them strengthen algebraic reasoning through structured instruction, individualized mentoring, and patient encouragement. Supporting learners as they transform uncertainty into confidence remains the most rewarding aspect of my teaching profession.
One learner initially struggled with exponential and logarithmic modeling because connecting abstract mathematical relationships to practical situations seemed difficult. By exploring scientific growth models, financial examples, and interactive graphical demonstrations, the student gradually developed a strong conceptual understanding. Through regular practice and constructive feedback, the learner achieved excellent examination results and gained lasting confidence in advanced algebra.

My teaching philosophy is built on the belief that algebra is best learned through understanding, exploration, and meaningful application. Every student begins with a thorough assessment of their mathematical background, confidence, learning preferences, and academic objectives. Students receive comprehensive instruction in algebraic expressions, equations, inequalities, functions, polynomial operations, graph interpretation, exponential and logarithmic functions, rational expressions, radicals, quadratic equations, systems of equations, sequences, algebraic modeling, transformations, and introductory symbolic manipulation.
