About Ashley
My professional background is working in college and high school education with a focus on multiculturalism - which means I love working with all sorts of people who are living all sorts of lives. It's hard to struggle in school and I love to make this part of a student's life less stressful. Many of my current students have ADHD, anxiety, depression and other struggles in life, and this impacts their ability to do well in school. I understand these challenges and work with my students to succeed, even though life often remains tough. My students know that I care about them!

I enjoy helping students make sense of academic material which seems too complex or boring for them. I also support students in learning and practicing executive function skills so that they can become stronger on their own. I work in a high school and have college and high school aged children and enjoy working with young people. My students often feel ashamed that they struggle with their classes and sometimes get to the point that they decide not to care. I help them care again, and I help them try and take risks.
