About Elias
Hi, I’m Elias. I’m currently studying Law at university and have always loved English — not just as a subject, but as a way of thinking clearly and expressing ideas powerfully. I achieved top grades in both GCSE and A Level English, and I know first-hand how demanding these exams can feel.
I want to teach because I remember how much of a difference the right guidance makes. English isn’t about being “naturally good” — it’s about learning the structure, understanding what examiners reward, and building confidence step by step.
I’m patient, encouraging and genuinely invested in my students’ progress. At the same time, I hold high standards and push students to think deeper, write more precisely and aim higher than they thought possible. My goal is not just better grades, but helping students feel capable, confident and proud of their work.

My lessons are structured, focused and built around what examiners actually reward. Every session targets a specific skill: constructing sharp thesis statements, embedding high-level analysis, comparing texts effectively, and writing under timed conditions with control.
Students don’t just “go over content” — they practise producing Grade 8–9 or A/A* standard work step by step. I model top responses, break down why they score highly, then guide students to replicate that quality independently.
Each lesson (typically one hour) includes live writing, immediate feedback, and clear improvement targets. We track progress closely so students can see measurable development in structure, clarity and sophistication.
Suitable for GCSE and A Level students of all abilities — whether securing strong passes or pushing into the very top bands. The goal is simple: confident, exam-ready performance at the highest level.
