About Alara
I am a Maths tutor with over 5 years of experience and a BSc in Applied Mathematics. My focus is on making mathematics practical, engaging, and directly useful for students in economics and business. I specialise in using game theory and optimisation techniques to explain decision-making in real-world scenarios. One of my passions is teaching Nash equilibrium and showing how it applies to competitive and cooperative strategies. I also enjoy guiding learners through linear programming and cost-benefit analysis, making these tools accessible and relevant. My teaching is not only about solving problems but also about showing how mathematics shapes intelligent decisions. I help students build strong skills in applying mathematical models to strategic business and economic cases. My teaching approach in Mathematics is nurturing, personalised, and designed to make learning both effective and enjoyable.
