About Mariya
I have successfully passed all 10 piano playing levels at the Royal Conservatory of music, along with theory and history. I have been tutoring piano for the past 2 years and have experience in teaching kids of different ages, backgrounds and levels. I prepare kids for competitions and examinations, including ear-testing and sight-reading. I also teach piano to kids who aren't planning to do examinations or competitions. I believe that everyone can play the piano and there are no limits to improvements and achievements.

During my classes, I pay a lot of attention to the technique, sound, hand position and most importantly performance skills. In a typical class, I would always pay a lot of attention to small details, such as correct fingering, dynamics and proper phrasing. My classes are meant for kids of all levels. Beginners, intermediate and advanced students are welcome. I prepare my students for exams and competitions, and I also teach students who aren't interested in doing examinations or competing.
