About Hannah
I have been a tutor for three and a half years and an online tutor for the past six months. In this time, I have taught over 300 hours. I have taught young children learning to read and write, teenagers tackling their GCSEs and AS/A-Levels in English Literature and English Language, up to adults learning EFL. To add, I teach IELTS exam prep, and offer proofreading and editing services. I am also a qualified TEFL teacher. Most of my students have been with me for over a year, and many of my previous students have gone on to achieve their target grades, growing in both knowledge and confidence. I bring with me knowledge and experience from working as an Assistant in one of the UK's leading language schools. In my time there, I mentored international students and ran CV and Creative Writing workshops. I have a First Class BA in English Literature with Creative Writing, and an MA in Modern and Contemporary Literature and Culture from the University of York. Finally, it's important to say I love what I do and my greatest experience has come from those who I have taught and the insight they offer me to look at the subject I have taught for so long in new ways.

I am an experienced and patient tutor who has a passion for her subject, offering to teach EFL, up to Bachelor's level in English Literature, and up to Secondary for English Language. My priority is the student's objective as the centre of my lesson plans, e.g., what they hope to achieve. Thus, I take into consideration their learning techniques, whether that is written comprehension, games, visual aids, etc. Traditionally, I use a PPP structure (Present, Practice, Produce) when learning new vocab or ideas.
