About Viktoria
Teaching is more than a career path for me, it is a calling and a passion. I take great pride and joy in my work and I strive to pass that joy and enthusiasm to my students. I have worked with a wide range of ages and levels, preferring to tutor teenagers and adults when it comes to online teaching, as the topics and language we can explore are more varied and compelling. Something of note is that providing a relaxed and safe environment is an important element of my teaching. Be it general learning or exam preparation, feeling comfortable and having fun are important aspects of learning. In our lessons, we can explore any topic, play games, analyse language, or even just discuss your week or something that annoyed you that day. It's akin to having an engaging chat with a friend who likes to correct your grammar ;) My style of work is not for everyone - I prefer being friendly and relaxed rather than overly serious and distant. This does not lessen the quality of my work, in fact, I believe it does the opposite - you might notice you retain a lot more knowledge when you are having a laugh!

* Student-centred approach - be an active participant in your learning through curiosity and critical thinking * Lesson length - typically 60 min., but open to 30 and 90 minute-long classes * Qualifications - I have a BA in English and linguistics, MA in Teaching English as a Second Language, CELTA, and Certificate in Exam Preparation (IELTS), as well as 6 years of teaching experience with children, teenagers and adults across all language levels. * Target learners - teenagers and adults, levels A2 and above. Happy to help with conversation, general learning, grammar, writing, school work, test and exam prep (I have experience with FCE, CAE, CPE, IELTS and Bulgarian/Polish maturation exams).
