About Oliver
I have 15 Years experience teaching Music in secondary and primary schools. My teaching has been graded as outstanding. I have State school and International school classroom experience planning and teaching children aged 2-18. I also have over 10 years teaching 1-1 peripatetic lessons in piano, voice guitar and bass guitar.

Central to my teaching is a desire to make Music learning fun, and accessible to all pupils – regardless of prior experience.
My role is to motivate, to enthuse and to inspire and I feel that my musical talents, in-depth knowledge of the music curriculum and genuine passion for my subject enable me to do this. I facilitate learning by providing the motivation to succeed. This may be through demonstrating techniques, showcasing musical skills, or sharing new musical experiences.
I believe that a student’s potential is most effectively maximised when they feel valued, supported, respected and challenged. In order to achieve this I work hard to build a rapport with students based on mutual respect.
