About Katie
I have a diverse range of experience teaching English as a Foreign language to both children and adults in private language schools, in a refugee centre, and online, offering individual and group tuition. I have helped many student's study for their IELTS exams and delivered Business English courses as well as conversational English classes. I hold a 2:1 degree in German and Spanish and a CELTA Pass A certificate.

My main teaching method is centred on communication based learning with lots of input from the students. I tailor my classes around relevant global topics and issues according the the student's specific interests, which fosters an open and interactive learning environment.
I am creative and innovative in my teaching methods and by incorporating a wide range of resources I can facilitate visual, audio and kinesthetic learning styles which keep my students focused and motivated.
