About Claire
I am a 30 year old High School Teacher, currently in charge of Media Studies and Child Development, alongside having taught and currently teaching English Language and Literature for the past 8 years.
I have a strong desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others: the opportunity to shape the minds and futures of my students, I am and always have been drawn to the idea of helping others reach their full potential.
I have a deep rooted love of learning and sharing knowledge: I am passionate about my subjects and enjoy passing on my knowledge and enthusiasm to others. I have a firm belief in the importance of education: I understand the importance of education in shaping the future of society and want to play a role in creating a more educated and informed population.
I have teaching and progress at the forefront of my thinking and look forward to helping and supporting others.

Currently acting Head of Department for Media Studies, Subject Lead of Child Development and Assistant Progress Coordinator for a large Year 11 cohort. Strong education professional with a PGCE Secondary Education focused in English and Media Studies from Liverpool John Moores University.
