About Ilaria
I graduated from Université Lumière Lyon 2 in 2107 with a BA in Langues étrangères appliquées anglais-chinois, mention très bien (Applied Foreign Languages English-Mandarin, 1st class). Modules included French Language and Creative Writing, translation English-French, translation Mandarin-French.
I have a lot of experience working with children and teenagers.
I have some experience as a French tutor for adults and teenagers and I also offered play session/lessons for younger children.
Until June 2019 I worked at Bloom International School in Milan. The school follows the Cambridge International curriculum and I taught Italian as Second Language from Year 3 to Year 11.
I involved primary pupils in the lessons through spelling games, reading and quizzes as well as songs. While I proposed debates, role-play and creative writing activities to secondary students.
I recently moved to Edinburgh and I plan to apply for a PGDE in Modern Foreign Languages. I am working part-time in an after school club and I am free during mornings, evenings and week-end.
I really enjoy tutoring and I can tailor the lesson according to your needs.
