About Elissavet
As an experienced English teacher, Deputy Director of English and AQA Examiner, I understand how to help students succeed in both English Language and Literature. With over 15 years of teaching experience, I have supported students from KS3 through to A Level, including GCSE resits and high-attaining students aiming for Grades 7–9.
My teaching focuses on building confidence, developing analytical thinking and improving exam technique through structured support and personalised feedback. I use my examiner knowledge to help students understand assessment objectives, strengthen essay writing and approach exams with clarity and confidence.
Each lesson is carefully tailored to the student’s needs and learning style. I create a calm, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and challenging themselves. Lessons typically include guided analysis, vocabulary development, writing practice and revision strategies designed to secure long-term progress.

I am an experienced English teacher, Deputy Director of English and AQA Examiner with over 15 years of classroom and tutoring experience. I teach KS3, GCSE and A Level English Language and Literature, including GCSE resits and A Level coursework support.
My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs and focus on building confidence, analytical writing skills and exam technique. I use clear modelling, structured feedback and examiner insight to help students understand exactly what exam boards are looking for.
Lessons are usually 60 minutes online and include retrieval practice, guided analysis, writing support and targeted revision strategies to help students make rapid progress.
