About Maher
I am an experienced Arabic teacher with a strong academic background and a solid teaching record. I graduated from Al-Azhar’s Institute of Quranic Readings, and I hold multiple Ijazahs with an authentic connected chain (sanad) back to the Prophet ﷺ. I have been teaching Quran, Tajweed, Arabic language, and Islamic studies to Arabic speakers for years, and I am now expanding my teaching to non-Arabic speakers with a clear, structured, and friendly approach. Alongside my Quranic and linguistic qualifications, I also teach Arabic handwriting and calligraphy, helping students improve their writing skills and understand the beauty and structure of Arabic script. My lessons combine clarity, patience, and practical techniques that make learning both enjoyable and effective. In addition to my Islamic and language background, I am also a certified TEFL-trained English teacher with practical experience teaching different levels, preparing lesson plans, and conducting trial sessions. This helps me communicate clearly with non-Arabic speakers and provide a smooth learning experience. I work best with students who are motivated, curious, and eager to improve step by step. My style is warm, supportive, and highly personalized to each student’s goals—whether they want to learn Arabic, master calligraphy, improve Tajweed, or study Islamic basics.

In addition, I offer light instruction in Tajweed and Islamic studies. Students can improve their recitation, learn essential rules, and study important topics in a simple and engaging way that suits their age and background.
