I find the utmost joy in sharing my knowledge with those who are willing to learn and experience the joy of playing banjo.
It's not an easy journey but it is definitely the most rewarding.
As added value, over and above the basics, I can teach you old-time Banjo, clawhammer and two finger playing styles.

Students want to learn to play banjo because they like the way it sounds and how it makes them feel. I possess the skills to teach you how to make sense of it all and how to make the music you want.
I can teach in English and in Afrikaans.
A typical lesson with me might consist of us assessing your needs in accordance to where you are on the journey of playing and learning.
We will then fill in the gaps and get you playing in no time.
Lessons are aimed at beginners but can cater for other more experienced musicians.
I can accommodate lessons from your own space or online if that better suits your needs
