About Jose
I am constantly surrounded by people in the United States who say they want to learn Spanish but never take the first step. I have worked with friends who were not fluent and practiced with them daily until their Spanish improved dramatically. The key is commitment and consistent practice. Learning a language requires being exposed to environments where you can practice without fear. You cannot be afraid of making mistakes or having an accent. Every person who has learned a second language has gone through that phase. Growth comes from stepping outside of your comfort zone and using the language, even when it feels uncomfortable. My goal is to create a supportive space where students feel confident practicing, making mistakes, and improving every day.

I specialize in teaching Spanish by focusing on strong fundamentals and practical, everyday conversation. I use real-life examples to help students build confidence and actually use the language in daily situations. I have experience teaching my younger siblings Spanish from a young age and have also helped classmates improve their skills. My goal is to help students not only learn the language, but also gain a deeper understanding of Latino culture.
