About Avisha
Hello! My name is Avisha, and I am a fully qualified secondary school teacher specializing in Biology and Science. I hold a BSc BEd in Botany and Education, as well as an MSc in Botany, and I am registered with the Irish Teaching Council. With several years of teaching and tutoring experience, I have worked with students of all levels, helping them to build confidence, deepen their understanding, and achieve strong results in both Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate exams. My background in both education and scientific research allows me to bring clarity and real-world context to the subjects I teach. I am passionate about education and believe that every student has the ability to succeed with the right support and guidance. As a qualified biology teacher with a BSc BEd and MSc in Botany, and registered with the Irish Teaching Council, I bring both deep subject knowledge and professional teaching expertise to every lesson. My teaching style is student-centred, meaning I adapt my approach based on each learner's needs, pace, and goals.
I focus on building a strong foundation in biology and science concepts, using clear explanations, visual aids, past paper questions, and active recall techniques.
