About Jenny
Hi! My name is Jenny, and I'm a current McMaster University Honours Life Sciences student with over 6 years of tutoring experience. I am a certified tutor through the License 2 Learn program and have worked with students from Grades 1–12, as well as mature learners (20+).
My goal is to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence, and reaching their academic goals.

Biology has always been one of my strongest and favourite subjects, and I love helping students discover that it can be both interesting and understandable. Every lesson is tailored to the student's learning style and may include clear explanations, diagrams, analogies, interactive activities, practice questions, and exam preparation to reinforce key concepts.
As a tutor, I focus on developing both understanding and confidence—not just memorization. I encourage students to think critically, ask questions, and build the skills they need to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
Having experienced academic challenges myself, I understand how frustrating learning can sometimes feel. That's why I strive to create a positive, patient, and supportive environment where mistakes are part of the learning process and every student can grow at their own pace.

Jenny is absolutely an excellent tutor. She had been tutoring both of our kids and we can see that both of them have improved not only on a school level, but also on a personal level with being more patient and more detail oriented. She is always there to help out with different subjects if they ask, she reviews their homeworks and tasks for upcoming test and quizzes.
