Ms. Dandara was my biology teacher throughout middle school and my AP Biology teacher in high school. She is the most knowledgeable teacher I’ve ever had. She always had the answers to everyone’s questions, and explained everything in detail. She helped me grasp the concepts really well. Although I had AP Biology online during the pandemic, I feel like I understood all the information, which helped me succeed in the exam.

I would trust Ms. Dandara’s work without a second thought! She helped me prepare for the Brazilian college entrance exams as well as my AP Biology classes, and I can honestly say that our lessons made a huge difference in paving the way to my acceptance. Her teaching style was always clear, easy to follow, and well-organized — and consistently tailored to my needs. She’s easily one of the smartest and kindest people I know. I'm truly grateful for everything she taught me and the confidence she helped me build along the way.

I mainly had middle school biology with Ms.Dandara, and thus far, has been one of my favorite science classes I ever had. Also, I've heard good things from my peers that took AP Biology with her.
She would teach us in a manner which was articulate and coherent, and whenever we had any doubts, even if they seemed "dumb", she would clarify in a way which would make us comfortable and wishing to learn more. Sometimes, I would have teachers that wouldnt go beyond the scope of class content, and so whenever someone asked something which might not be directly related to what we were seeing, our questions would be shut down. With Ms.Dandara it was different, she was always willing to answer our questions and allowed for actual curiosity and learning. A great teacher overall, thank you Ms.Dandara!

Ela é extremamente competente, inspira por sua liderança e exemplo, e consegue engajar os alunos com responsabilidade e entusiasmo. Para o meu filho, em especial, que sempre teve uma paixão pela Biologia, a Dandara foi essencial para despertar ainda mais esse interesse. Foi com o apoio e a inspiração dela que ele decidiu seguir o caminho da Biotecnologia, área em que teve um aproveitamento excepcional no vestibular da UFRGS e no Enem , especialmente na matéria de Biologia.

Dandara is an extraordinary teacher, and I've been lucky enough to see my two children learn from her. She is extremely competent, inspires by her leadership and example, and manages to engage her students with responsibility and enthusiasm. My children often refer to Dandara as ‘the teacher who knows everything’ - a reflection of their admiration for her intelligence and mastery of the content.

For my son, in particular, who has always had a passion for Biology, Dandara was essential in awakening this interest even more. It was with her support and inspiration that he decided to follow the path of Biotechnology, an area in which he did exceptionally well in the UFRGS entrance exam and the Enem, especially in the subject of Biology.

I had the privilege of being Ms. Dandara’s student for Biology and AP Biology courses throughout my school trajectory, and she was the teacher who sparked my interest in the sciences and pursuing a path in pre-medical studies. I truly learned something new in every class, and greatly enjoyed the active, inquiry-based and hands-on approaches to learning in that were often implemented. It made the lessons engaging and interesting, and encouraged students to be curious, learn research and critical thinking skills, and draw connections with the real world. Among our classmates, we would frequently say Ms. Dandara was the smartest person we had ever met, and her stories and interesting facts, as well as her genuine passion for teaching and caring about students as individuals made science classes a highlight of my high school journey. There is no science teacher I would recommend more than Ms. Dandara as a tutor!

Professor Dandara was a great biology teacher. She had a clear way of explaining things and always found easier methods to help me understand. What I appreciated most was how she noticed when I was struggling with certain topics and stepped in to support me without me even having to ask. She was patient, attentive, and genuinely cared about helping her students succeed. I'm really grateful for the time we spent together and everything she taught me.

Dandara is an absolutely amazing teacher. You can really see how interested she is at the topic. From casual jokes to in-depth explanations about any topic you may possibly think, she's got it! I have been a student of hers for just under a year in the past while studying for AP/College Biology, and I was able to do incredibly well at all moments in time, with necessary documents, worksheets, explanations, and rhetorical questions that certainly improved much of my understanding of the content. I cannot recommend her tutoring enough to anyone, regardless of context or content.
