Experienced Chemistry Tutor and Science Communicator
I have two Master degrees in Chemistry from the University of York, since graduating I have volunteered as a teaching assistant at secondary schools, as a tutor at local colleges, and as a science communicator at science festivals both nationally and internationally.
In my professional career I work at a bioscience research institute specialising in the research of viral diseases and vectors of disease, having previously worked in a management role in an environmental chemistry laboratory and as an analytical scientist in a food science laboratory.
I am passionate about science, the role it plays in our society and sharing all the wonderful things science has achieved with the public. I hope to share my passion and scientific experience with pupils and get them excited about the scientific world that exists all around us.
