About Heather
I have a strong understanding that as the teachings of Christ are applied in our lives, we can experience greater peace, clarity, direction, and purpose. These blessings not only strengthen our personal relationship with God but also enrich our homes, families, and friendships. I believe, as the scriptures teach, that the Holy Spirit is the true teacher. My role is to provide genuine friendship, compassionate support, and access to reliable (the doctrine of Christ), uplifting sources of knowledge. I have always been passionate about meeting people and hearing their stories—their spiritual journeys, beliefs, and the experiences that have shaped them. I deeply value every individual and have been raised to respect and love others, regardless of our differences. I believe that meaningful spiritual growth is nurtured through thoughtful guidance, good friendship, and reliable (the doctrine of Christ) information. I find great joy in helping people explore their questions, reflect on scripture, and build confidence in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Every lesson is tailored to the student’s level and needs, supporting them to discover personal insights and apply Christ’s teachings in daily life. In addition to my spiritual experience, I bring a strong foundation in education and support work. I hold several teaching certificates and am currently in my third year of a Primary Education degree, majoring in special needs. I have eight years of experience in disability support, which has strengthened my patience, empathy, and ability to adapt teaching to each learner. I have also volunteered as a mentor and youth counselor at multiple youth conventions and have opened my home to teenagers facing challenging situations. These experiences have deepened my commitment to creating a safe, nurturing, and encouraging environment for all learners. My goal is to help every student feel valued, supported, and empowered as they grow in their understanding of the scriptures and in their personal journey with Jesus Christ.

My approach to teaching focuses on guided discovery, thoughtful questions, and helping each person learn how to recognize personal answers from scripture rather than simply being told what to believe. I tailor each session to your spiritual level—whether you’re just beginning your journey or already have a strong foundation in Jesus Christ.
Lessons typically run 30–60 minutes and involve reading together, discussing real-life application, and exploring how Christ’s teachings can strengthen faith, provide direction, and bring peace.
I draw on four years of Seminary, 18 years of Institute coursework, a 22-month Christian mission, and experience serving on the Victorian Interfaith Committee. These experiences help me support learners of all ages and backgrounds with patience, respect, and compassion.
These lessons are ideal for anyone wanting to understand the scriptures, strengthen their relationship with Jesus Christ, or simply explore their spiritual curiosity in a safe, welcoming environment.
