About Ahmet
I am an Assistant Professor in Civil Engineering with extensive experience in both teaching and research. My expertise lies in railway infrastructure, geotechnics, and transportation systems, specialising in experimental and numerical analysis of ballasted and slab track structures for high-speed railways. I am passionate about delivering high-quality education and mentoring students in various aspects of civil engineering. As an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA), I am committed to effective and inclusive teaching practices.
