About Holly
I have taught Latin, Greek and Classical Civilisation in secondary school for fifteen years, from beginners to A Level. I also teach on the London Summer School in Classics, for which I received overwhelmingly positive feedback. I studied Classics at the University of Edinburgh and did my PGCE at King's College, London.
I have a solid grounding in the OCR GCSE and A Level syllabus for all three subjects if that is what you are looking for, but am also very happy to accept students who simply want to broaden their knowledge of the Classical world. My aim is that my lessons are challenging but enjoyable, tailored to the needs of each individual student.

My lessons are fun and accessible. Building confidence of the basics with regular revision, learning games and language practice, my goal is to have you reading Latin/Greek texts with confidence.
I am a fully qualified teacher with 15 years of experience. I also teach on the London Summer School in Classics.
Ideally, I am looking for adult students who either want to brush up on their language skills, or who want to start from scratch so they can see how much better Homer is in the original than Nolan's blockbuster film!
