About Gage
I am an experienced French tutor with 13 years of teaching experience, specialising in High School and College education. My focus is on helping students understand French clearly and apply it confidently.
Personalised learning is at the heart of my teaching philosophy. I tailor each lesson to the student’s learning style and academic objectives, ensuring effective progress.
One of my strengths is my ability to explain difficult topics in a simple and logical manner. I use real-world examples, structured exercises, and conversation practice to reinforce learning. Pronunciation and grammar accuracy are key priorities.

Learning French should be fun, interactive, and confidence-building. My methodology emphasises creativity, communication, compassion, and problem-solving, helping students achieve fluency while fostering a lifelong love for the language.
I encourage creativity through storytelling, role-play, and cultural projects. Lessons are designed to connect French to real-life scenarios, making grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation practical and memorable.
Communication is at the heart of my teaching. I create a safe and supportive environment where students can speak, listen, and write, building fluency, clarity, and self-confidence.
I teach with compassion, adapting lessons to each student’s pace and learning style. I provide guidance, encouragement, and constructive feedback to help learners overcome challenges and succeed.
