About Vaishnavi
With 15 years of dedicated experience in Kathak and Bharatanatyam, accompanied by bollywood, hip hop, contemporary and freestyle , I am deeply passionate about performing and teaching these classical dance forms. My professionalism is reflected in my extensive training, classified degrees, and structured approach to instruction, ensuring each class is delivered with precision and clarity. Dance is not just my profession but my lifelong passion, and I thrive on the joy of sharing this art form with others. In my dance classes, I employ a blend of traditional and contemporary teaching techniques to ensure a holistic learning experience. My methods include:
Structured Progression: Each class builds on the previous one, gradually increasing in complexity to help students master techniques at a comfortable pace.
Individual Attention: I provide personalized feedback and support to address each student's unique strengths and areas for improvement.
Interactive Learning: Classes are designed to be engaging and interactive, with opportunities for students to ask questions and discuss their progress.
Cultural Context: I emphasize the cultural and historical significance of Kathak and Bharatanatyam, enriching the learning experience with background knowledge about the dance forms.
Usual Structure of a Class:
Each online class is structured to maximize learning and enjoyment:
Warm-Up (10 minutes): A series of exercises to prepare the body and mind for dancing.
Technique Practice (20 minutes): Focused drills and exercises to develop and refine fundamental techniques.
Choreography (20 minutes): Learning and practicing choreography, including the two chosen songs.
Creative Expression (10 minutes): Encouraging students to incorporate their personal style and creativity into the routine.
Cool-Down and Feedback (10 minutes): Gentle stretches followed by constructive feedback and a Q&A session.

Course Details:
Schedule: Online classes are conducted three times a week.
Repertoire: Students will learn and perform two songs chosen by me, with an emphasis on both technical skill and artistic expression.
Competitions: There will be additional opportunities for students to enter dance competitions, helping them gain recognition and experience in the dance community.
