About Antara
Hello! I'm Antara, a dedicated and passionate data scientist with a strong background in tutoring students particularly in mathematics and statistics. I received my MS in biostatistics from the University of Pennsylvania, and my BS in Statistics from Carnegie Mellon University. I have several years of experience working in the field.
My approach to tutoring is not just about helping students understand the material but also about building their confidence and encouraging a genuine interest in the subject matter. I believe that every student has the potential to excel, and my goal is to create a supportive and engaging learning environment tailored to each individual's needs. I first determine my student's learning style. My lessons involve a plethora of examples. I break down complex topics into manageable sections, building on each concept progressively. I tailor each lesson to the student's specific needs, ensuring a customized learning experience.
