About Melissa
Hello!
I am a professional actress having trained at LAMDA, graduating in 2016 with a first class honours degree. I now work in acting across TV, Film and Theatre. Alongside my degree in acting, I studied English Literature up to A-Level and my love for literature never left me. I am an avid reader and consider myself to be very widely read, and I write fiction of my own in my spare time.
I love the idea of helping and guiding others to understand a subject more deeply, and I feel my passion for my subjects will definitely shine through in our sessions together.
Tutoring isn't just about passing an exam, but about inspiring tutees to develop an enjoyment of learning that could stay with you your whole life and I love being a part of that development.
In the past I have tutored two twin Somalian boys in basic reading and writing skills, a five-year old girl in Maths and English, and done some adult-tutoring for people with English as a second language wanting to improve their written and oral skills.
I also offer LAMDA exams tuition, as well as acting-coaching - particularly for people wanting to apply and audition for drama school or who want help cracking that important audition.
