About Hamdy
Hi, my name is Hamdy. I hold a bachelor’s, a Master’s, and a PhD degree in mechanical engineering. I have more than twenty years of teaching experience, including more than ten years as a casual academic at the University of Sydney.
I have extensive teaching experience in a range of engineering-based courses for both undergraduate and postgraduate students within a couple of universities. I also have many years of experience running private tutoring sessions for students from the University of Sydney, UNSW, UTS, UWS, and Macquarie University.
I have more than twenty years of experience in teaching thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, power plants technology, and energy resources for both undergraduate and postgraduate mechanical, civil and electrical engineering students.

I am a highly resourceful, innovative, and enthusiastic educator who possesses a considerable amount of knowledge regarding contemporary teaching methods for university students. A hard-working tutor who can teach students across wide engineering disciplines, encourage them to develop critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication skills in addition to problem-solving skills that will make them experts in a subject. A tutor with a genuine interest in educating others and with a life interest of being a part of his students’ success stories.
While teaching, I am trying to make my students feel confident, which is the key to their success. I am also interested in bringing new approaches to the teaching of existing courses. My goal in teaching is to empower students to become leaders within their chosen field.
For more than twenty years, I helped hundreds of students to conquer subjects they really believed would never pass and manage hurdles they did not imagine would never clear. I have a great passion for helping young people to succeed and that established a highly trustful relationship between my students and me. If you want to achieve the same, you reach the right person.
