I am passionate about helping students achieve the very best of their ability and take great pride in supporting their academic growth and confidence. I believe that with the right guidance, encouragement, and challenge, every student can succeed.
Outside of teaching, I have a strong love for the arts and literature. I enjoy reading widely, writing my own stories, and regularly attending the theatre, interests which also enrich my teaching and allow me to bring creativity and real-world context into my lessons.

My teaching approach is student-centred, combining clear structure with flexibility to meet individual needs. I use a mix of direct instruction, guided practice, and discussion-based learning to build both confidence and critical thinking. In English and Media, I emphasise close analysis, exam technique, and the development of strong written responses. I also incorporate varied resources, such as visual media, extracts, and model answers, to engage students and reinforce key concepts. Regular formative assessment and targeted feedback are central to my approach, ensuring steady progress.
Lessons typically last 30 minutes, although I can adapt to 45- or 60-minute sessions depending on the student’s needs and preferences.
I have over ten years of teaching experience across both primary and secondary education. I have taught in leading independent schools in London as well as internationally. I am currently Head of Department, overseeing GCSE and A Level, including managing multiple classes and supporting student achievement at a high level.
My lessons are primarily for secondary school students, particularly those studying GCSE and A Level English Language, English Literature, and Media Studies. I also have experience supporting upper primary students and can adapt lessons for a range of abilities, from those needing foundational support to high-achieving students aiming for top grades.
