About Melissa
I’m an experienced educator with over six years of teaching English Literature and History to students in grades 4–8, with additional support for high school learners. I hold a Master’s in Education and have worked with over 2,000 students, helping them build confidence, strengthen critical thinking, and improve academic performance.
As a tutor, I focus on making learning clear, engaging, and personalized to each student’s needs. I use proven strategies, targeted feedback, and interactive lessons to help students truly understand material—not just memorize it. My goal is to support students in building strong skills in reading, writing, analysis, and study habits while creating a positive space where they feel comfortable asking questions and growing.
