I'm a writer and Oxford History student with a Master’s in Creative Writing. I use an informal, supportive approach to make English and History engaging and accessible, especially for students with dyslexia or mental health challenges. Let's build confidence together!

I focus on making learning engaging, relevant, and enjoyable. I tailor each session to the individual student - whether we're exploring historical events, unpacking complex texts, or preparing for exams - so they can build skills and confidence at their own pace. As someone with dyslexia, I know how challenging studying can be, especially when mental health is also a factor, so I work hard to create a warm, non-judgemental space where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I'm flexible and adaptable, always adjusting to suit what each student needs in the moment. Lessons take place one-to-one over Zoom and are suitable for KS2 to GCSE, with support available for homework, coursework, revision, and everything in between.
