About Angel Mae
As a Licensed Professional Teacher and BSED English graduate with three years of teaching experience, I am committed to creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students can feel comfortable learning, asking questions, and expressing themselves. My experience teaching English and other academic subjects has taught me to adapt my lessons to different learning styles, levels, and needs. As a Licensed Professional Teacher and BSED English graduate with three years of teaching experience, I use a student-centered and interactive approach to help learners understand English and develop confidence in using it. I believe that students learn best when lessons are connected to their interests, experiences, and learning needs. I use discussions, guided practice, examples, real-life situations, reading activities, writing exercises, and constructive feedback to make lessons engaging and meaningful.
A typical lesson begins with a short warm-up or review to connect the topic to what the student already knows. I then introduce and explain the lesson using clear examples before guiding the student through practice activities. The student is given opportunities to apply what they have learned through conversation, exercises, reading, or writing, depending on the lesson objective. We end with a brief review, feedback, and a clear takeaway or practice task.
What sets me apart is my patience, adaptability, and genuine commitment to helping students improve at their own pace. I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach, so I adjust my teaching strategies according to each learner’s level, goals, strengths, and areas for improvement. My lessons are designed not only to improve English skills but also to help students become more confident communicators.
My lessons are suitable for elementary, junior high school, senior high school, and college students, as well as adult learners who want to improve their English. I can assist with grammar, reading comprehension, writing, vocabulary, literature, academic English, communication skills, and speaking practice. Whether a student needs help with school subjects, academic requirements, or simply wants to become more confident in English, I aim to make every lesson supportive, practical, and enjoyable.
