About Manasi
I’m originally from Singapore, and took the IB (with an HL in Language and Literature). I came to the UK for university and work, and I’ve had the pleasure of tutoring since 2020. English has always been my favourite subject, and I take pride in my writing. I want to help students find their own voice in writing and that’s why I want to teach.

I provide tailored lessons in essay writing, college applications/CV advice, and have extensive experience teaching IB English Language & Literature. My students range from primary school to college students, and have shown consistent grade improvements with my personalised teaching style.
At university, where I studied social sciences, I scored high firsts in my essays, which were in modules like Sociology, Psychology, and Economics. I also have been a student mentor helping with CVs.
My students will receive lots of material, including exemplar essays, notes and readings. My teaching style is flexible and will work with the student’s pressing needs.
