About Ellie
Hi, I’m Ellie – a qualified English teacher with a PGCE and a degree in English Language. My experience ranges from teaching GCSE English Language and Literature in UK high schools to spending several years teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL) in Asia. Whether you’re preparing for exams, boosting your writing skills, or learning English as an additional language, I offer warm, structured support tailored to each student. My lessons are designed to build confidence, encourage independent thinking, and make English feel accessible and engaging. I bring plenty of patience, empathy, and flexibility into my teaching style. I know how powerful it can be to have the right support at the right time and I love helping students find their voice and reach their potential. When I’m not teaching, I’m usually out walking or running with my two dogs or exploring the outdoors with my young son. I love hiking, staying active, and enjoying quiet moments with a good book.
