About Abigail
I am a motivated and enthusiastic 16-year-old student who is passionate about learning and helping others succeed. I love challenging myself academically and consistently aim for excellence in everything I do, which has helped me achieve top results across my subjects. Outside of study, I enjoy playing netball and socializing, as I value teamwork, communication, and building strong connections with people. My positive attitude, dedication, and ability to relate to other students make me approachable and supportive, while my focus on achieving high standards ensures that I bring professionalism and reliability to my tutoring.

I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to suit each individual’s needs. My techniques focus on breaking down complex ideas into simple, step-by-step explanations, using examples, practice questions, and interactive discussions. I encourage students to ask questions and think critically, so they not only understand the material but also gain confidence in applying it.
A typical lesson is 60 minutes, although I can adjust the duration depending on the student’s needs.
I have experience tutoring high school students in various subjects, including English, Math, Science, and NCEA exam preparation. My background includes mentoring and tutoring multiple students with various needs.
I mainly work with high school students (Years 9–13, including NCEA Levels 1–3), but I am happy to help younger learners who want to strengthen their foundation.
