About Ruth
I have a degree in English literature and Education, a diploma in English and EAL teaching and I have taught secondary English and EAL for 20 years. I am also a singer and guitarist and love teaching English through songs and films.

My lessons are language focused but work through different text types, both creative and informative. I am expert in teaching essay writing, as well as creative writing. I teach spelling through phonics and encourage students to perfect their accent and spelling. I turn all my students into confident speakers.
