Many years of ESL instruction in classroom, small group and one to one tutoring. Most of my teaching has been here in Canada with some in Korea and Indonesia.
I have an advanced degree in Asia business and culture that helps me to teach more effectively to students from that part of the world.

One to one, small groups. Balanced approach to learning wherein students will learn and practice each language skill.
We have a lot of fun in class, we learn common phrases and idioms and most importantly how and where to use them. Primarily, I have taught adults, business professionals and university students. A typical lesson would have a reading, then some listening practice. Followed by speaking, pronunciation and grammar/vocabulary. My teaching philosophy is that learning English is best learned within an atmosphere of structured lessons with emphasis on the student enjoying themselves and learning about English used in daily living. Academic English can also be offered.
