About KEVIN
My goal is to make learning IT a fun, memorable experience, originating from the early days when I was a Telephone Engineer, and being "instructed" by egocentric authoritarians, and told not to step out of line while being taught. When I arrived in the training world by fluke rather than plan, as a trainer, I vowed that I would never behave like my predecessors and do my very best to make my sessions enjoyable! I like to engage the people in front of me, by making them feel included in the process of learning. I conduct the session as more of a conversation with friends. Ask and expect the attendees to make mistakes and learn from them. My humour is never planned, but rather spontaneous, and seems to get a few chuckles, which helps have lighter moments. But never too many, as learning new skills and knowledge is key.
