About Aimen
I am currently studying Science and Fine Art at the University of New South Wales and achieved a 91.5 Atar, including a Band 6 in Mathematics Standard 2 (92) and high Band 5 results across multiple subjects: Biology (91), English Advanced (85), Modern History (86), and Studies of Religion II (86). These results reflect both strong subject knowledge and effective study strategies, which I now pass on to my students.
I have experience tutoring students across a range of year levels and am confident in adapting explanations to suit different learning styles. My lessons are designed for students from Year 5 to Year 12, whether they need support building foundational skills, improving their marks, or aiming for top results.
I aim to provide a professional, reliable, and encouraging learning environment where students feel supported, capable, and motivated to achieve their best :)

I focus on making sure students actually understand what they’re learning, not just memorize steps. My teaching style is very supportive and adaptable. I adjust how I explain things depending on the student, whether that means breaking concepts down really simply, using real-life examples, or working through questions step-by-step together. I also like to ask lots of questions during lessons to check understanding and build confidence, so students feel comfortable thinking for themselves rather than relying on memorized methods.
In terms of structure, my lessons are usually 60 minutes, which I’ve found is the perfect balance between staying focused and covering enough content. A typical lesson includes a quick review of previous work, learning or reinforcing a concept, and then practicing exam-style questions to really lock it in. I also make sure students leave with a clear understanding of what they’ve learned and what to work on next.
I’m currently a Science and Fine Arts student at the University of New South Wales, with strong academic results, particularly in Biology and Maths (including high rankings in HSC!). I also have experience tutoring students across different year levels, which has helped me develop the ability to explain concepts in multiple ways depending on the student’s needs.
My lessons are suited for students from Year 1 to Year 12, whether they need help catching up, staying on track, or aiming for top results. I work with a range of abilities and always aim to build both understanding and confidence, so students feel more comfortable and capable in their studies.
